Tattoo Aftercare

  1. Remove the bandage after no more than 2 hours. Always wash your hands before touching your tattoo.

  2. Gently wash the tattoo using lukewarm water and mild soap (preferably antibacterial). Pat dry with a clean paper towel — do not rub.

  3. Apply a thin layer of Bepanthen (nappy cream) or similar moisturizing ointment. Do not put another bandage on.

  4. Clean your tattoo 2–3 times a day with soap and water. Pat dry and reapply the ointment each time.

  5. After 3–4 days, once healing begins, switch to a gentle, fragrance-free body lotion (e.g. cocoa butter).
